The OID Directory

The "OID Directory" is an EXPERIMENTAL Internet Draft (I-D) series written by Jesse Coretta as a purely independent contribution.

The documents in the series define terms, procedures and abstract components required for managing the "OID tree" -- in part or in whole -- under the standard X.500/LDAP model.

This effort is not funded by any entity in any way, nor is it endorsed by any official body at this time.

Advanced Documentation

This section will contain in-depth implementation notes involving a variety of directory service products. The scope of this section goes well beyond the narrow focus of the I-Ds themselves, and offers more practical information for the benefit of those wanting to TEST the concepts of the I-D series directly. More content is always in development!
